School Outings & Trips
Outings with a pedagogical purpose
Educational outings and institutional representation outings organised by the school are educational activities with a pedagogical purpose. These outings are the result of a didactic proposal that teachers have identified as an ideal setting for students to construct knowledge.
The school promotes a wide variety of visits, camps, tournaments, competitions, choir events, charitable activities, etc., which form an important part of the educational experiences provided by XIC.
These direct experiences are valuable learning opportunities, as they encourage inquiry through observation and interaction with different sources of information.
Authorisations
To participate in these outings, parents must submit the required authorisations. These authorisations are important documents for the school. Families will be asked to complete and sign them and submit them within a mandatory deadline.
Students who do not submit their authorisations in a timely and complete manner will not be allowed to participate in the activities in question and will have regular classes during the day(s) of the activity.
Information before each outing
Each time there is an outing, the school will inform parents by letter via email, with all the information regarding the activity: destination, objectives, accompanying teachers, prices, departure and return times and any other relevant details.
Organisation and transport
- All student groups will be accompanied by school staff, departing from the school and returning together.
- The school will arrange transportation that meets its necessary specifications.
Please note: the school reserves the right to decide on a student's participation in outings and trips in cases where the student has outstanding debt with the school regarding the monthly fees.
For outdoor outings, when necessary, parents are encouraged to reinforce sun protection and insect repellent measures.
